WHAT WE OFFER

These are the services we cover in the Neuromuscular Massage services

Sports Massage

Sports Massage is often called an orthopedic massage or clinical massage, specifically designed for people who put extra physical demands on their bodies due to a sport or hobby. This therapy will help support and enhance performance, speed up recovery and help reduce injury caused by overtraining. Massage includes Theragun in treatment free of charge.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep Tissue Massage is an excellent massage to treat chronic pain and on-going tension. Deep tissue works all of your connective tissue and fascia, as opposed to Swedish massage, which is more superficial. Deep tissue massage uses oblique pressure, a combination of lengthening and cross-fiber strokes, anchor and stretch, freeing muscle from entrapment. Massage includes Theragun in treatment free of charge.

Swedish Massage

Swedish Massage is a perfect massage if you are looking to just relax and rejuvenate your body and mind. Instead of deep pressure the Swedish massage involves actions like percussion, kneading, vibration, tapping and rolling.

Lymphatic Vacuum Cupping

Lymphatic Vacuum Cupping is an ancient technique and possesses the benefits of traditional use, along with many incredible new applications. This therapy utilizes glass or plastic cups and a vacuum pistol, bulb or machine to create suction on the body surface. These cups are moved over the skin using gliding, shaking, popping and rotating techniques while gently pulling up on the cup or are parked for a short time to facilitate joint mobilization or soft tissue release.

A trigger point is a muscle spindle of fibers that has lost communication with the nervous system and is stuck in contraction. Your therapist applies constant, direct pressure once the trigger is located and it resets the communication and the muscle spindle relaxes.

Muscle adhesions feel like a snap, crackle, pop when your therapist works on them. But it is the fascia or lining around your muscles that balls up from repetitive movements. The heat from friction and pressure your massage therapist applies allows the fascia to contract back into place.

Knots feel like raised balls of hard, tense, tissue and they are just that. They are a buildup of contracted muscle spindles caused by repeated movements or imbalances in your posture, etc. The therapist breaks up these knots by applying pressure around the knot or by stripping the tissue.

Release deep muscular (soft tissue and organs) issues Release and soften scar tissue and adhesions Lift and stretch soft tissue Improve circulation and tone vessel walls Alkalize blood Drain lymph fluid Sedate the nervous system Open energy flow of the body Decrease or relieve pain and inflammation Tight or hardened soft tissue Decrease scar tissue Helps break up and reduce appearance of cellulite Tighten loose and sagging skin

Using Vacuum Cupping Therapy with soft tissue mobilization techniques such as trigger point Therapy, Lymphatic Drainage, Myofascial Release, Joint Mobilization, Active Release Therapy will effectively achieve far reaching results. Lifting the skin and underlying tissues up also engages the parasympathetic nervous system, Also known as vagus nerve activation, allowing deep relaxation to move through the entire body. You will feel relaxed, relieved, warm and light. Your body will move with fluid glide and your pain will be significantly decreased.

To achieve the full benefits of a recharge you’ll need to go in for a least four sessions, once a week. This allows your body to recharge and helps your lymphatic massage work through built up toxins.
